ONE HOLE PRODUCTS ACCURIZING CANTILEVER BARREL SLUG GUN KITS
Minor gunsmithing is necessary for application. As in the this pic countersunk holes need to be drilled through the cantilever in alignment with the existing scope mount holes in your receiver for application. If you do not have factory or post factory scope mount holes in your receiver then those holes will also need to be drilled & tapped. The process is quite a simple one for any competent gunsmith. I believe it is more stable than pinning.
> Important Note:
NOTE: REMINGTON OWNERS HAVE TO MEASURE THE CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE
CANTILEVER AND THE TOP OF THE RECEIVER TO DETERMINE THE MODEL FOR THEIR
FIREARM. REMINGTON OWNERS SHALL MEASURE THEIR HOLE PATTERNS. THIS IS TO
PREVENT MISORDERING AND RETURNS OF INCORRECT MODEL ON REMINGTONS.
> The chuck end of a 1/8, 3/16, 1/4 "drill bit can be used to measure the gap closely. If it is a
little loose the screws will tighten the cantilever down, if the drill bit is a little snug the
cantilever will flex slightly to accommodate the Kit. Feeler gages will work also. If these drill
bits are way loose or tight I can probably make a custom one for you.
There are different models for different gaps.
> This is the most general Remington shotgun scope pattern, but there are a few
others since Remington's multiple company changes.

> Important Note: If your cantilever is of the full receiver length (extending to almost where the receiver starts to curve down towards the grip) then this is the part. If your cantilever is of the shorter design then depending on where your scope mounting holes are located can be a factor. If the cantilever extends and hovers over the reward scope mounting hole this part will work. If the cantilever does not extend pass the reward mounting hole I can make a custom three hole mounting part for you if the scope mounting hole pattern is the same as mentioned above and possibly other scope mounting hole patterns. Brownings and Pardners have three hole mounting systems so it will be plenty strong. The Kit would still work with three of the holes being used just part of it would extend beyond the cantilever.
The Accurizing Slug Shotgun Kits consist of a designed piece of 6061 T6 aluminum that fits between the cantilever and the receiver. Then the Accurizing Shotgun Kit is affixed between the cantilever and the receiver and screwed down tight in accordance with the scope mounting holes of the receiver. This action simulates a more fixed barrel characteristic with additional benefits. These additional benefits consist of, (a) more solid union between the scope, barrel & receiver (b) an elimination of temperature fluctuations and vibrations (c) on particular models the prevention of the cantilever hitting the receiver on recoil (d) takes all flex out of the cantilever (e) it also helps prevent double grouping on switch barrel guns. This compliment will help prevent shifts in switch barrel guns on firing, recoil, and general usage. Also it will create a more solid unit when utilizing makeshift rest in hunting situations, such as the side of a tree or blind window. The compliment shrinks the slug shooters groups and puts more accurate shots on game. After you find the right load that your gun likes, I think it will give you more confidence in your weapon while you are sitting in your blind.
